Terms of Service

In short

• You get a license to run your business with the App — not to resell or reverse-engineer it.
• The App is an operational tool; it is not a certified tax or government e-invoicing system, so review your figures.
• Your data is yours, and keeping backups is your responsibility.
• We may require an update when a release fixes a significant issue.

1. Acceptance

By using the App or website, or submitting a purchase request, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use them. If you act for a business, you confirm you can bind it.

2. The service

Baytraq Sales Manager is an app for point of sale, invoicing, inventory, purchasing, returns, customers, suppliers, expenses and reports. It runs locally on your device, with optional device linking over a local network (LAN) or the cloud depending on your plan. Features and platforms depend on the release and license and may differ between platforms.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your lawful business according to your plan. You may not copy the App for resale, decompile or reverse-engineer it, bypass license limits, remove notices, or use it for unlawful activity. Intellectual property in the App, name and logo remains with Subul Technology; your data remains yours. Parts of the App may use open-source libraries under their own licenses.

4. Plans and payment

• Free: core features on a single device.
• LAN: device linking inside the store over the local network, and staff accounts.
• Cloud (includes LAN): cloud sync through Firebase.

Prices and plan terms published on the website (such as a one-time payment per store) apply when your license is issued, and activation is confirmed between us on request. Any Firebase charges above its free quota are borne by the owner of the relevant Firebase project and are not part of the license price. We may change prices for new orders without affecting licenses already issued.

5. Accounts and staff

You are responsible for the people you give roles and permissions, for keeping login codes (PIN/QR) secret, and for all activity under your store’s accounts.

6. Your data and backups

Your data is mostly stored on your own devices. You are responsible for taking and safeguarding regular backups. Device loss, app deletion or storage corruption can lose local data, and we cannot recover data we do not hold.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully, to harm others, to disrupt it, to access other stores’ data without authorization, or to upload content that infringes others’ rights.

8. Updates and minimum version

We may release updates and fixes. To protect your data and sync integrity we may set a minimum supported version, and the App will then ask you to update to continue. If the check server is unreachable, use is not blocked.

9. Third-party services

Some features rely on third-party services (Google Firebase, app stores, GitHub Pages, Web3Forms). We do not control their availability or terms, and related features may be affected by outages.

10. Nature of outputs; no professional advice

Reports, profit, tax and balance figures are operational outputs based on what you enter and how you configure the App. The App is not a certified accounting or tax system, does not claim compliance with any government e-invoicing or regulatory requirement, and is not a substitute for an accountant or lawyer. Verify results before financial decisions or filings.

11. Devices and printers

We work to support common platforms, printers and scanners, but cannot guarantee every device, printer or network will work. Test the App on your own equipment before relying on it day to day.

12. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, error-free or uninterrupted operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Subul Technology is not liable for indirect or consequential damages or loss of profit, data or opportunity arising from use of or inability to use the App, and our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the relevant license. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Indemnity

You agree to bear claims arising from your use in breach of these Terms or from data you entered without the right to do so.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate a license that breaches these Terms or is used fraudulently. Provisions that by nature survive (ownership, disclaimer, limitation of liability) continue after termination.

16. Changes

We may amend these Terms; continued use after publication means acceptance. We will update the “Last updated” date and flag material changes.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws in force in the Republic of Iraq. We will first try to resolve disputes amicably by correspondence, failing which the competent Iraqi courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory rights you hold under the law of your country of residence.
